REMEMBERING RIZAL

Rizal’s childhood

                       Recently, we watched Batang Rizal in Assumption theater. The experience was no usual, but there is something that made that event full of impact on us.

                       Pepito was a mischievous student. He has friends but there are students who bully Pepito. They think he is weak in all aspects. Pepito is a loving, caring and understanding son and brother. He is not ashamed of his status in life. Jose Rizal is an onspiration for him. He reads alot about Rizal. There is a significant happening that made Pepito know Rizal more. He had a bok, a magical book. He time travelled on Rizal’s childhood. He met him, and Pepito was really surprised they became friends. Pepito discovered that they have similarities. Rizal’s childhood name is Pepe, he is a responsible, caring and loving son and brother like Pepito. He also got problems especially when his mother was put to jail, she was accused to poison someone. But that did not made Pepe weak. Instead, he made it as a challenge to become strong to defend his loved ones.

                           In studies, little Rizal and Pepito has also something in common, they both sometimes get lazy to study and read. Many thoughts came to Rizal’s mind. The short stories are the result of all the childish thoughts. And these spread and shone until now. Rizal has a real man’s dignity. Whatever he thinks right will never be broken, he will defend for it.

                            In their time travel, Pepito learned a lot from his idol, and so Rizal. They both enjoyed the time. Those memories build a great friendship between them, that will always stay in them.
